A Foody Bag is a bag of random food items from one business, aiming to save food from being thrown away at the end of the day. The contents of the bag depends on stock availability, so we cannot guarantee what you’ll receive other than good quality food at a fantastic price. We've been running since 2021 and our aim is to bring you more planet-conscious stores.
One third of all food produced goes to waste. This adds up to $20 billion wasted on agriculture, 5% of Australia’s national greenhouse gas emissions, and 1,046 billion litres of previous water wasted - all on food that never gets eaten! Foody Bag exists to help reduce this excessive waste.
Due to the items you being perishable, there are no refunds or exchanges for a missed collection.
Once you place an order, the food is set aside for you, ensuring it’s not sold to someone else. If you need to cancel, here’s how it works: • If there are more than 4 hours before the pickup window closes, you can cancel your order from the My Bags screen by pressing the cancel button and following the instructions. • If there are less than 4 hours left before the pickup window closes, cancellation is no longer possible. When you cancel, you’ll receive a refund for the full amount minus the credit card transaction fee. This small fee is deducted because it is charged by our payment provider, Stripe, and is not refunded to us.
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds or exchanges for a missed collection.
Click on the 'Invite & Earn' link in the Settings screen. You can invite stores and invite friends and family. If you check the Foody Bag website you can even become a Foody Bag Ambassador.
For you and your friend to receive a $5 credit, the friend must: a) have entered your referral code when signing up* b) have made their first Foody Bag purchase costing more than $5 without using credits c) have never had a Foody Bag account in the past * Referral codes must be entered at the time of signing up for an account and cannot be added at a later time if forgotten (or if incorrectly entered).
Head to business.foodybag.com.au to set up your account, and download the Foody Bag - Store Owners app to list your first offering!
Foody Bag only accepts Australian phone numbers. If you are having other issues, please get in touch via the form in Settings.
Sometimes it's easy to get it wrong but if you are certain there's a mistake then keep the products in the bag and return to the store. If you can't make it to the store then please take photographs of the goods and go to the Settings screen in the Foody Bag app and click on 'Item complaint', select your order number, describe the issue and upload your photographs.
We’re sorry to see you leave us! Please let us know if there’s something we can improve before you go. To delete your account, go to the Settings tab and click on the link ‘Delete account’.
